On the first approximation models for the movements of a spherical solid body

Various approximate models describing movements of a body with one fixed point are presented assuming that the angular velocity of rotation is much greater that the angular velocity of rotation of the axis. Models of the first and the second order have been constructed. Invariance of the first order models on the Euler angles is proved. Conditions for stability of a spherical motion are determined and an equation describing small amplitude stable oscillations of a body is derived.
