Retrospective analysis of northern taiga pine woods fire-induced dynamics of Western Siberia using remote sensing data
A remote sensor data was used to determine possible dates for the low-level fires in northern taiga pinewoods. For a model array, the fire areas were computed for the last 90 years. Some conclusions have been made about the natural fire-induced dynamics and its change under industrial development of region.
