Mathematical modelling of oscillations induced by a jet influent into cavity

Unsteady gas flows in Hartman device are investigated. Two-dimensional Euler or Reynolds equations are solved using an implicit third order Runge - Kutta scheme. Numerical results reveal that flows in Hartman device are unsteady both in turbulent or laminar approach under the assumption that the flow leaks through the bottom of a cavity.
