Geoinformation technologies in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia)

The usage of the geoinformation systems is especially actual for a detailed study, assimilation, monitoring, safety measures and sustainable development of Yakutia territory where the standard methods are not effective due to large and sparsely populated territory. In the Yakut scientific centre of SB RAS the local data bases have been created in different directions of nature usage, preservation of surroundings, supplying the technogenic safety of complicated technical systems which are of great value not only for the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) but also for other neighboring regions of the Far East Okrug.
