Gas flows upper converged shock wave in problem on spherical- or cylindrical-symmetric non-selfsimilar compression construction

A mathematical formulation of the problem on a non-selfsimilar compression of a symmetric gas volume without formation of shocks [1,2] is a special initial boundary-value problem called the Generalized Cauchy Problem. Notion ``Generalized Cauchy Problem'' for non-linear partial differential equations is introduced on the basis of results by N.A. Lednev [3]. Existence and of uniqueness issues of analytical solutions of the Generalized Cauchy Problem are considered. The constructed gas flows could be used for simulation of a powerful compression of gas.
