Website rating for scientific & research organizations of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences
In the present work we analyze the websites of the SB RAS Academic Institutions using webometrics techniques. Webometrics arised as an extension of bibliometrics into the web space. Only official domains of scientific organizations with independent domain have been analyzed. In order to determine the quantitative characteristics of the web sites, we use Yandex, Google and Yahoo search engines since these tools comprehensively cover the Russian language based segment of the Internet, have relevant services for conducting research and continuously update the collected information.
