Development of hIcon microformat for semantic markup of information on icons
The paper is aimed to solve a problem of icons annotation on web-pages. Microformat hIcon based on minimal data scheme is created, which allows to markup information about icons into documents, represented as (X)HTML, Atom, RSS, and XML. Based on hIcon microformat, the structure of service for icons recommendation as well as plugin for Operator extension of Firefox browser are developed to operate with this microformat.
