Development and evaluation of a microscale meteorological model for investigation of airflows in urban terrain

A microscale model for investigation of urban environment is developed. It is based on the k-e-model of turbulence. A comparison of the developed model, FLUENT CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) package, and the experiments is carried out. It is shown the model satisfactory predicts the structure of turbulent airflow.
