Throughput analysis of the asynchronous data link control procedure
A model for the data link control procedure with selective reject mode was proposed. The model is based on the Markov chain with discrete time. The model considers the influence of the size of retransmit time-out on the inter node link throughput. Dependence of the data link control procedure throughput on the link error rate, protocol parameters, and informational channel characteristics was deduced.
