Computation of a strong compression of a spherical gas bubble in liquid

A numerical technique to study dynamics of a spherical gas bubble under strong compression in a liquid is presented based on a second-order accurate difference scheme. It is shown that the technique is more than 10 times more effective than those used in literature and constructed on basis of the first-order accurate methods.
