Numerical methods for the solution of non-linear non-stationary problems of wave generation by a body immersed in fluid

The review of the numerical methods for the solution of non-linear boundary-value problems on surface and internal waves caused by the contour motion is given. The horizontal and vertical oscillations, acceleration from the rest as well as the vertical rise of the contour to the free surface are considered. The problems of simulating separated flow about the contour and the interaction of vortical wakes with the interface of fluids are considered. The research results obtained with the help of the above-mentioned methods are analysed.
