Numerical model of a suspension-carrying flow for the Novosibirsk Reservoir

Numerical model of river flow in the longitudinal-vertical plane adapted to conditions of the Novosibirsk Reservoir is presented. Modelled hydrodynamic fields in conjunction with the actual data are used for calculation of a suspended load transport in the water reservoir. Formulation of a boundary condition for concentration of a solid suspension near the bottom is discussed. We consider the longitudinal structure of the flow of sediment and obtain estimates of silting of the bottom of the reservoir
