Simulation of surface waves generated by an underwater landslide moving along a spatially irregular slope

Numerical modelling of the surface waves generated by a movement of an underwater landslide along a spatially irregular slope is considered. The law of movement of a landslide is presented. Numerical model accounts for influences due to the forces of gravity, friction, buoyancy and hydrodynamic resistance that takes the effect of the added mass into account. Results of computing experiments for an idealized water domain are discussed
