Modelling gas dynamic processes in combustion chambers using multiprocessor computers

Application software SOKOL-M for the multiprocessor computational system MVS enables one to carry out a series of calculations of gas flows for the solution of a quasi-stationary problem of gas flows in real channels and under various parameters of the inflow. The parallel calculation makes it possible to reduce 1.6N times the computation time under the calculation of N variants on 3N processors with simultaneous visualization of all the variants in different windows of the screen.
