Numerical algorithms for modeling cavitational flow of a viscous fluid

Numerical algorithms for calculation of unsteady three-dimensional cavitational flow of a viscous fluid based on barotropic cavitational model and on model with transport equation of phase are suggested. Rules for the explicit-implicit approximation of non-linear source terms that improve convergence of the scheme are formulated. Comparison of the constructed algorithms with the experimental data for the model problem has shown good results. The influence of the vapor density on the accuracy of solutions, along with the shape and size of the cavity are investigated.
