A compact dissipative scheme for nonlinear Schrodinger equation

A compact difference scheme of the fourth order of accuracy in time has been constructed for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation. In addition, a regulatory dissipation mechanism for the compact difference scheme is developed. The series of numerical experiments show its significant advantage in accuracy compared to the dissipative analog of the Ñrank - Nicholson's schemes
