Sensor networks and stripe covering with ellipses

The problem of the min-density covering of a stripe with ellipses of one, two and three types is considered. We proposed and investigated novel regular covers, which generalize the authors results for a coverage of stripe by disks. We obtained novel fundamental results which can be applied for design of a power efficient systems for monitoring of lengthy objects by wireless sensor networks.
