Parallel numerical finite elements schemes for solving of geo-electric problems

Solving problems in complex geo-electric environments with contrasting physical properties requires stable computational schemes implemented on modern parallel supercomputers. The paper offers results for the three-dimensional electromagnetic field modeling obtained using a domain decomposition with multiplicative Schwarz method. The influence of overlapping of the sub-domains on accuracy of calculations is investigated
