Simulation of incompressible turbulent flows in vicinity of bluff bodies with ANSYS Fluent

The paper deals with 2D and 3D calculations of unsteady incompressible turbulent flows in the vicinity of bluff bodies in order to create the methodic of the wind action calculation. Computational results are compared with experimental data for the eddy detachment frequency, mean velocity and turbulent kinetic energy.
