Method of collocations - least squares for Stokes equations

Method of collocations - least squares for Stokes equations has been constructed for the solution of boundary-value problems for Stokes equations. The method has been implemented on a regular square grid. The working formulae accuracy has been tested on a series of test problems. The experiment showed the convergence of the numerical solution. The results were analyzed on a sequence which showed that the convergence of the implemented version is no worse for smooth solutions than for the second order. The calculation results for the flow in a rectangular ñavern with a moving upper boundary obtained by the method of collocations - least squares have been compared with the calculation results of other authors and with the experimental data which showed a good agreement between them. The formulae for the method have been obtained by means of computer algebra.
