Numerical modelling of the seasonal changes in water temperature in teletskoye lake
Dynamic changes in the longitudinal and vertical thermal structure of the lake in spring-summer and fall have been studied based on a non-stationary two-dimensional vertical model. The calculations showed that the numerical model provides qualitatively correct representation of the lake thermal regime, in particular, the longitudinal temperature-and-pressure characteristics. The comparison of the calculation results for the thermal structure of the lake with the measurements is shown.
