Reference model of a system for contactless analysis of the ergatic systems psychophysiological state of operators

Objective. The paper presents a conceptual model of a system for contactless psychophysiological state analysis for operators of the ergatic system. Operators are using contactless sensors that do not distract them from their production activities for the tasks of monitoring operators in order to promptly determine their condition, upon the occurrence of which their further work may lead to emergency situations.

Methods. A mathematical formulation of the problem was performed based on the methods of system analysis and set-theoretical description of the subject area. A conceptual model of a system for contactless psychophysiological state analysis of the ergatic system operators was proposed. The model was developed using data mining methods for processing their oculomotor activity and computer vision and data mining methods for video images of the processing operator.

Results. The response levels of the operator of the ergatic system are determined, functional dependencies are highlighted and psychophysiological states of the operator are determined, which may happen to him at the workplace separately at each level of response. It may include behavioral, physiological, and mental levels. An example of the application of the proposed conceptual model for determining the psychophysiological state of human fatigue is shown based on the use of video images of his head and oculomotor activity.

Conclusions. The proposed conceptual model systematizes and generalizes the use of operator data analysis technologies to build a digital twin of the operator, including monitoring at the behavioral, physiological, and mental levels to identify conditions such as: behavior that differs from normal, drowsiness, decreased concentration, fatigue, and decreased cognitive load.
