Numerical, discrete model of origion of destructive earthquakes

For purpose to construction a simple, one-dimensional, non-linear cut of Earth, the non-linear vibrations of linear chain of free particles, interacted in a reciproc Len-nard-Jons potential and excited in a bottom part of cut was simulated. If masses of particle decreases from bottom to top, the mechanism of significant grows of surface Earth vibration is observed. The described mechanism may be used for explication the others physical phenomena (for example: thermoemission, beam durability of glasses and crystals).
