Optimization problems of controlling separation processes

A mathematical model for the simulation of multicomponent mixtures separation processes is suggested. The problem of the optimal control has been formulated and the necessary optimality conditions have been obtained. A numerical method for the solution of optimization problems has been developed and numerical experiments have been carried out.
