Estimation of the quasi-steady state condition of the catalyst surface in a fluidized bed

A singularly perturbed boundary value problem, which describes a catalytic process in a fluidised bed is considered. The behaviour of the solution is estimated with respect to the equation coefficients as well as to the difference between the solution for the singularly perturbed problem and the solution of the corresponding degenerate problem.
