On numerical investigation of transonic turbulent flows near wing by implicit high order schemes

The results of the numerical investigations are presented. Test problems are considered as well as the calculation problem of turbulent trans-sonic flows. Three high-accuracy implicit schemes are used: Runge-Kutta scheme of the third order, Runge-Kutta scheme of the second order with the order increased to the fifth for stationary solutions, and the scheme of the third order with respect to time and the third order with respect to the space directions. All the schemes include artificial diffusion of the same type. The diffusion properties are analysed using Burgers equation by way of example.
