The ASPD database on synthetic peptides

An Internet-available (http://sgi.sscc.ru/srs5/) database on synthetic peptides obtained mainly using phage display technique is being developed. It is helpful in mapping active centers, shifting affinity from one target to another, obtaining peptides with affinity exceeding in vitro this of native proteins severalfold. We also have studied correlations of amino acid properties in different positions of the sequence.
