On the distributivity in classical interval arithmetic
A new proof of the theorem about distributivity cases in classical interval arithmetic is proposed. It is based on properties of interval characteristics. Also a representation of the interval as the product of its deviation and relative interval is singled out and used to modify the proof of the formula for the width of the interval product.
