Model of seismic process

This study is devoted to the further development of the rotational model for the focus of a largest tectonic earthquake, which was previously suggested by the authors. The equation of motion (sin-Gordon equation) is drawn for the interacting foci (blocks) that compose the focal zone of the Pacific margin. It is shown that solutions of the obtained equation can be used to explain some properties of the seismic process.
