Reduction of vector three-point scheme on the infinite interval to a scheme with a finite number of grid nodes

Three-point vector difference scheme on the infinite interval is considered. This scheme corresponds to approximation of elliptic equation in a strip. The method of reduction of such scheme to the scheme with a finite number of grid nodes is investigated. The method is based on the extraction of sets of solutions of difference equation, satisfying the limit conditions at infinity. The results of numerical experiments are included.
