Ignition of forest massiffs under the infuence of the high-altitude radiant energy source

The solution of the problem connected with the initiation of mass forest fires as a result of technogenic catastrophies using two - dimensional axisymmetric settling up is given. The results of the numerical calculations are presented from which it follows that ignition mechanism in these cases is the same as for the impact catastrophies ( for example, Tungus explosion), but quantitative characteristics of the ignition processes (time and limiting conditions of the ignition, the shape of the ignition zone on the underlying surface) differ considerably. The comparison of the limiting sizes of the ignition zones for the different powers of the nuclear charges in a two - dimensional and quasi-one-dimensional approximation showed a good agreement.
