Modified finite volume method for calculation of oceanic waves on unstructered grids

The new computational scheme for computing the water surface wave propagation, based on the nonlinear shallow water equations is described. The explicit-implicit method is applied for discretization on time. Mixed Modified Finite Volume Method (MFVM) on unstructured triangular grid is used for spatial approximation. The linear basis functions are used for wave surface, quadratic basis functions for velocity fields for executing the Ladygenskay-Babushka-Brezzy condition.
