Speech signal generation model

The speech signal generation model is considered, which differs from other conventional models by including the speech formation system as a whole, starting with the lungs and ending with the sound transmitter. It is shown that in such a system the generated sound signal depends on multiple parameters, describing lungs, trachea, vocal chords, fauces. It is important that the vocal chord movement self-synchronizes with those processes occurring in trachea and vocal tract, and the sound is formed almost straight away at the glottis output.
