Automated geological forecasting system "Octave"

The new method of the estimation of undiscovered hydrocarbon potential and some other minerals is described. The forecasting is based on the probability regularities arising in a natural set of deposits, which is formed by accumulation in the specified region. The method is realized in the decision support system "Octave".
