Optimal system of sub-algebras for thermal diffusion

A model for convective motion of binary mixture with thermal diffusion effect is considered. The Oberbeck - Boussinesq approximation describing convection in natural earth's conditions is used. The Lie group of transformations allowed by the equations of motion and the corresponding Lie algebra of generators [Java Applet] are found. The optimal system of sub-algebras for the finite Lie algebra [Java Applet] and the optimal system of one-dimensional sub-algebras for the Lie algebra [Java Applet] are constructed.
