Numerical prediction of the cryopeg dynamics in the frozen soil

A mathematical model of salt, heat and moisture transfer in freezing and thawing frozen soils is presented. This model was solved numerically using the directed differences scheme. The results of numerical simulations and the pollution dynamics in the active layer of frozen soil are presented.
