Geoinformation modelling of air pollution of the city of Almaty at different scenarios of city transport development

Geoinformation modelling of air pollution in Almaty (Kazakhstan) is considered. The main attention is paid to air pollution modelling and comparative analysis of different scenarios of city transport development: compliance (optimistic forecast) and incompliance (pessimistic forecast) with European standards on exhaust gases. The mathematical model presented in the paper has been transformed into the statistical expression by the means of time averaging of characteristic periods of mountain-valley circulation.
