Application of implicit Runge-Kutta schemes for numerical investigation of incompressible flows with contact discontinuities

Implicit third order Runge-Kutta schemes are used for solving of two dimensional equations of incompressible fluid flows, written in the vorticity-stream function formulation. The results of numerical calculations are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the numerical method.
