Mathematical modelling and optimization of dispersion-managed fiber transmission lines with optical 2R regeneration

Mathematical simulation of multiwavelength fiber transmission links with optical 2R regeneration based on quantum well saturable absorber and highly nonlinear fiber was fulfilled. In this paper we present the optimization results of particular symmetric systems and demonstrate error-free data transmission benefit of optical regeneration in comparison with alternative non-regenerated case.
