Simulation of homogenous turbulence by spectral method

Large Eddy Simulation method with a Fourier filter is applied for the modeling of a homogenous turbulent flow. The general information on the method is given. The technique of averaging of the Navier-Stockes equation is shown. The results of simulation are shown to be in accordance with the classical turbulence theory.
