Numerical models of swirling turbulent wake behind self-propelled body

The numerical modelling of evolution of swirling turbulent wake behind self-propelled body was carried out. Two mathematical models including the differential equations for the motion, Reynolds stresses and the rate of dissipation transfer are used. A satisfactory agreement of results of numerical experiments and experimental data has been demonstrated. The degeneration of far wake is investigated. The numerical simulation of passive scalar dynamics in turbulent wake was carried out.
