Initial evolution of twisted gas volumes adjacent to vacuum

We study flows of an ideal polytropic gas, which appear when the gas begins to disperse into vacuum or when a two-dimension axisymmetric gas volume collapses. We investigate the case when the vector of gas velocity lays in the plane, tangential to free surface between gas and vacuum. A solution is constructed in the form of converging series. It is proved that each gas particle on the free surface moves with its own constant velocity along its own straight line.
