A class of optimal centered form interval extension
Under 2 times differentiability condition,a simple expression for an optimal centered form is presented. Among all possible centers within a given interval, this center yields the greatest lower bound and the smallest upper bound of a centered form, respectively. Furthermore, the result in [1] is extended and improved, and it is proved that this optimal centered form has smaller excess-width than the form in [1].
