From GICC, the French research programme on management and impacts of climate change, to circle, a coordinated European initiative including Russia

France has set up the GICC programme to develop its national scientific research on climate change impacts. This project is now involved in the EU CIRCLE initiative that seeks to gather all the European countries in an enlarged network, focusing on the impact of and adaptation to climate change.
