On numerical modelling of a swirling momentumless turbulent wake

The numerical modeling of swirling momentumless turbulent wake has been carried out. The mathematical model including differential equations of dynamics, continuity and normal Reynolds stresses transfer is used. The shear turbulent stresses are defined with the nonequilibrium algebraic relations. The finite-difference algorithm having conservatism with respect to the laws of conservation of momentum and the angular momentum has been constructed. The predicted results are in a good agreement with the experimental data.
