Long-term dispersion modelling: assessment of atmospheric transport and deposition patterns from nuclear risk sites in Euro-Arctic region

This article is focused on the testing of developed methodology for nuclear risk and vulnerability assessment, and probabilistic evaluation of the long-term atmospheric transport and deposition patterns for radioactive pollutants from 16 selected nuclear risk sites in the Euro-Arctic region. In this study, the geographical territories and neighbouring countries at the highest risk of being polluted in a case of a hypothetical accident at risk sites were identified.
