On one algorithm for solution of the Navier-Stokes equations for viscous incompressible fluid

An economical difference scheme is proposed for solving the Navier-Stokes equations for a viscous incompressible fluid in physical variables. The scheme is based on splitting the equations on physical processes. The scheme is implemented using scalar sweeps. The algorithm is tested on the problem of the convective flow in a cavity and on the problem of a flow in the closed domain with one heated wall.
