Numerical simulation of the effect of bulk viscosity on a sequence of embedded meshes

The influence of bulk viscosity on evolution of a finite-amplitude vortex disturbance riding on a shear flow of molecular gas is studied in the framework of full Navier - Stokes equations. The result of calculations on a sequence of embedded meshes have shown that the effect of scheme viscosity in energy dissipation is negligible compared to the bulk viscosity.
