Numerical simulation of free boundary flows using SPH and MPS

This work is devoted to numerical solution of the free boundary problems in hydrodyna\-mics using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and Moving Particles Semi-Implicit (MPS). These methods allow simulation of phenomena that incorporate large deformati\-ons of the domain boundaries, as well as alteration of its connectedness and intersection of its boundaries. Underlining ideas of the methods are described, and the results of numerical calculations of some free boundary problems are presented.
