Mathematical modeling of propagation of a plane crown forest fire front
We propose a mathematical formulation of the problem of the forest fire initiation and propagation based on the averaged three dimensional non-stationary mathematical model of forest fire. A method of control volume is used to obtain the discrete analogies. The boundary-value problem is solved numerically. The results of mathematical modeling allow investigation of the initiation and spreading dynamics of the forest fire.
